Michelle is an experienced fitness coach, having started personal training in 2009 after completion of her stuides in Regina, SK. Michelle and her husband, Jarret, have 3 beautiful children. She understands the intricacies of juggling priorities in motherhood. Michelle wants to help you realize just how strong you are inside and outside the studio.
After a rough start to Motherhood, diagnosed with Pelvic Organ Prolapse and suffering from Postnatal Depression and Anxiety, Michelle desperately wanted to feel like herself again. She focused all of her continuing education on better supporting women in fitness, especially surrounding birth and motherhood.
It didn’t take long to realize that Moms were joining classes for her knowledge and support, but they were staying for the Community.
The community of Moms doing things differently. The ones showing up, imperfectly. The ones accepting that done is done. That good enough can be great. That they are deserving of the time and effort of caring for themselves and being unapologetic about it. The ones realizing their potential and exploring the strongest version of themselves.
In January 2023, LIFT SOCIETY - the studio for Tough Mama Fitness became the home of Bad Ass Moms in YYC. Lift Society believes that there is a way for everyone to include fitness in their life and that you can have fun doing it and find joy in moving your body.
